Many tribal and hilly communities across Odisha, including areas of Koraput district, still lack reliable access to safe drinking water. Somanath Trust installs tube wells and purification systems in these areas, paired with hygiene awareness programmes so families can make the most of the improved water access.
This programme directly supports public health outcomes by reducing water-borne illness in communities that often have limited access to medical care. Contributions are 80G tax-exempt and eligible for CSR-1 corporate funding.
